Hot Toddy / Feel Good Tea

Hot Toddy / Feel Good Tea

I call it "Feel Good Tea" but most folks call it a "Hot Toddy." Good for all ailments brought on by the cold or the various winter viruses that hurt your throat, sinuses, and lungs! I do give it to the kids as well but I dilute it pretty good for them.

3 oz Kentucky Bourbon (We prefer makers mark)

3 oz hot tea or water (I use Celestial Seasonings Sleepy Time Herbal Tea)

2 TBS of local raw honey (local helps with allergies!)

Juice from 1/2 Lemon

Stir it all together in a microwave mug and nuke it till warm enough. Or, if you boil your tea it will warm the whole mixture enough to serve.

Hot Chocolate Mix (In Bulk)

My friend Becky's recipe! Makes enough for all winter or for gifts! You can vary the flavor by using different flavored non-dairy creamers such as cinnamon....

10 cups powdered milk
4 3/4 cups powdered sugar
1 3/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1 3/4 cups non-dairy creamer
