Bethany’s Vegetable Beef Stew

Vegetable Beef Stew This recipe is very off-hand. You can add, subtract whatever you may or may not like. If you want it thinner, leave the lid on when it cooks. If you want more of a hearty stew, leave the lid off and let it cook down. You can always add more crushed tomatoes if it gets too thick. Ingredients: 2-3 pound roast cut in cubes and trimmed of fat 1 bag frozen corn kernels 1 bag frozen cut green beans 1 bag frozen green peas 5 bag of carrots, peeled and sliced into rounds 4 stalks of celery cleaned and sliced 1/2 head of cabbage chopped 1 bag frozen chopped onion 1/4 cup chopped parsley 4 chopped cloves of garlic 2 bay leaves 1-2 Boxes of beef bone broth 2 peeled and cubed potatoes 2-4 cans chopped tomatoes (don't drain!) 1 can tomato paste 1-2 cups red wine Worcestershire sauce Instructions: Salt & pepper the beef cubes then brown them in the bottom of your (big) pot with about 2 tsp olive oil. Shrimp, Crab & Corn Bisque

SHRIMP AND CRAB BISQUE  1# shrimp 1# crab meat 2 cans cream style corn 2 cans cream of potato soup 1 quart Half & Half 1 1/2 sticks butter 1 onion chopped 1/2 cup chopped green onion 2 tablespoons flour Salt and pepper to taste 1 shake of ground nutmeg (optional) 1 shake of hot sauce (optional) Sauté onion and green onion in butter until clear Stir in flour and cook a couple of minutes Add cans of soup and cream style corn and cook until bubbly. Add seafood and cook until shrimp turns pink Add Half&Half and salt and pepper to taste Lower heat to avoid milk from separating do not bring to a boil Serve hot add hot sauce and nutmeg in each serving dish (optional) **Stole it from someone who stole it on Facebook....*

Phase I Diet: 2 Week Meal Meal Plan

A nutritionist put this diet together for my daughter and it works great! You won’t be hungry and you’ll lose up to a pound per day. 30 min fasted cardio in AM *No adding salt, sugar, or artificial flavors or sweeteners. You can use herbs, Mrs.Dash, and G.Hughes sauces. Eat every 2 hours and nothing after 6pm. Drink 64 oz water per day. Breakfast: Green tea, 1 boiled egg, 1 orange,  1 Roma tomato Snack 1: 10 raw almonds and 1 apple Lunch: 3oz lean protein, 2 cups raw spinach, 5 cherry tomatoes, 1/4 cucumber, half a red bell pepper Snack 2: 1 Boiled egg and 1 orange Snack 3: 2 TBS hummous and 1/4 cucumber OR 7 baby carrots Dinner: 3 oz lean protein, half sweet potato, 1 cup steamed broccoli  Wednesday and Friday Additional Snack: 1 apple cinnamon rice cake, 2 TBS natural peanut butter, drizzle of raw honey
